How QuotaCal collects, uses, and protects your information.

1. What we collect

We collect information you provide directly — such as your name, email, and company when you sign up, contact us, or subscribe to updates. When you use QuotaCal to qualify prospects, we process the submissions your applicants provide and public information about their company.

We also collect standard usage and device data (such as pages viewed and approximate location from IP) to operate and improve the site.

2. How we use it

We use your information to provide and improve the service, respond to you, send updates you’ve asked for, and keep QuotaCal secure. Prospect data is used to produce qualification decisions and meeting briefs for the account that collected it.

3. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data with service providers who help us run QuotaCal (for example, email delivery and analytics) under agreements that limit their use of it, and where required by law.

4. Email and marketing

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we use your email to send updates via our email provider. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.

5. Data retention and security

We keep personal data only as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To make a request, email hello@quotacal.com.

7. Google user data

QuotaCal connects to Google Calendar only when you choose to connect it, and only through Google OAuth. We never ask for your Google password and we never store one. This section explains exactly what Google data QuotaCal accesses, why, how we store it, and how you remove it.

What we access. QuotaCal requests the narrowest scopes that let it do its job:

https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.freebusy — we read only the busy and free times on your calendar, so your booking page offers slots you are genuinely free for. We do not read the titles, descriptions, guests, locations, or attachments of your existing events.

https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events — we create one event on your calendar when a qualified applicant books a slot, and we update or cancel that same event when the booking is rescheduled or cancelled. We only read and write events that QuotaCal created.

openid, https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email and https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.profile — we read your Google account email address and basic profile so QuotaCal can show you which account is connected.

How we store it. We store your Google OAuth tokens in encrypted form, together with the connected account email address, the calendar identifier, and the identifiers of the events QuotaCal created. Free and busy times are read live each time a booking page is opened; we do not keep a copy of your calendar.

How we use and share it. Google user data is used only to provide the calendar features described above to the account that connected it. We do not sell it, we do not use it for advertising or credit decisions, and we do not use it to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models. We do not transfer it to third parties except to the sub-processors that host and operate QuotaCal, or where the law requires it. No QuotaCal employee reads it, except with your explicit consent to resolve a support issue, for security purposes, or to comply with applicable law.

How you remove it. You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time in QuotaCal under Settings; this deletes the stored tokens immediately. You can also revoke QuotaCal’s access from your Google account at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Closing your QuotaCal account deletes the stored Google data with it.

Limited Use. QuotaCal’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
